Stevenson & Desrochers Law Corporation consists of the partners, Diane H. Stevenson and Kristin M. Desrochers, and associate, Marcella M. Dyck.

The firm was established in 1998 as Stevenson Law Office and became Stevenson & Desrochers Law Corporation in 2006. Diane H. Stevenson, LLB

Diane has practised law in Portage la Prairie for more than 25 years. She has experience in all areas of law: from family law, to real estate, to Wills and Estates, to corporate law. She has appeared in all levels of Court in Manitoba, arguing motions, conducting trials and arguing appeals. In addition, she hears and conducts appeals for some organizations where she is a Board member.

Diane has volunteered her time to local organizations and provincial organizations. As a result of such volunteering, she is now a Life Bencher of the Law Society of Manitoba and a Life Council member of the Manitoba Bar Association.



Kristin M. Desrochers, LL.B.

Kristin has practiced law in Portage la Prairie since receiving her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Manitoba in 2004. She articled at Stevenson Law Office, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2005. She practices primarily family law, including custody and support matters, property division, guardianship applications, and child protection matters. With a focus on working collaboratively towards resolving matters, she also appears regularly in court.

Kristin also volunteers in the community, and is currently the Chair of the Board for the Portage Family Abuse Prevention Centre.
